Started Ramadan with surprising high-intensity - have decided to embrace it full-swing with activities i have always wanted to do in this month but never done before. Having a light stomach does help to reduce the fat - not only the stuff lumped in the posterior, but also in the 'fathead' - hunger i guess has the power of focusing your mind and cutting out the crap you've been feeding yourself - physically and mentally.
Friday and Saturday was high impact however its Sunday and am slacking already - getting up at 5am is having its toll......
I note that the ulama have finally, finally announced that breaking fast in hotels amidst a luxurious banquet of food is against the principles of Ramadan. Took them this long but hopefully change will take place.
Must now carry out slated Ramadan Activity #3 and write to local Malay medium newspapers on the evils of berbuka puasa di hotel mewah.

But if they specifically refer to hotel mewah, what about less mewah ones like 3 star Cititel or Pudu Hotel??
hahaha - no actually they refer to pembaziran whether in the hotel or at home, so Pudu Hotel/Dynasty Hotel/Grand Pacific Jln Ipoh all covered.....
oh about time! hope they also covered going manic at bazaar ramadhan..
oh, and dont forget the 'tukar langsir dan kerusi meja baru dari Kamdar'...but it does take away a little of the festivity of ramadan and hari raya though..everything in moderation i guess.
maybe only langsir but not
karr-pit baru.
It shouldnt take an ulamak to make a statement before we all get into a state of self realisation. Malaysian, as a whole go into a glutton frenzy during ramadan, non-muslims included. What do you expect when we have mutated into a selfish and pretentious society? Sometimes it takes an act of god to make us realise it. Makes you wonder when u have earthquakes and plan crashes all around us and we still fail to see.
so what was activity #1 and 2
selamat berpuasa dear. semoga berkat amalan kita di bulan mulia ini.
