mmmmphh

Am going through a discomforting period.
New World cannot result immediately, but is waiting in the Wings, and I have a foot in it.
Have reached boiling point and have cut off Aged Rockstar from life in the most hurtful way possible. (for the 1000th time. It still hurts the same somehow). Have amputated gangrenous limb and now am suffering from loss.
Have met new and interesting people, but not interesting enough.
Spent a lovely weekend with Crazy Colleagues at Ye Olde Smokehouse, owned by a Crazy Colleague. Here's what i had to eat that weekend (yes, all of it):
Devonshire cream scones with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream
Lemon Souffle
Chicken and Mushroom Pie
Bubble and Squeak
Iced Asparagus with Lime Mayonnaise
Fruit cake
Roast Lamb with Redcurrant Jelly
Creme Brulee
Steamed Ginger Pudding
Lots of tea & chips
Received an email from a stranger whom i met in Nikko Park, Japan in Oct 2004 - in the midst of beautiful autumnal red-hued forests I had forgotten to bring my camera. So I begged a Japanese couple to take a picture of me and the scenery (attached above). And only received the email this week - the wife actually had taken the trouble to learn English so she could email.
Attending wedding after wedding after wedding. I have a church wedding this weekend.
My mate Inconditus has just had her honeymoon in Aspen.
Tonight I have an ultra chi-chi function to attend, courtesy of New World.
But I feel empty.
I attended my fortnightly religious classes and had an amazing session on Death. (my favourite subject)
Just as a baby born into Life discards the Placenta which gave it sustenance in its former home, the Womb, so shall be the process of Death. Upon Death our Bodies will once again be the forgotten Placentas, and the cords which bind our Soul to our Bodies by a silver thread shall be broken forever. We then enter the After Life, the Life after Life, The Realm of Barzakh. Where our Souls will either flit with the Lightness of Virtue or Sink with the Weight of Sorrow which we wrought upon ourselves in the transient prison of Space and Time that is Earth.
Yes, it's a discomforting period.

sweetie, we all go through pockets of void and emptiness. perhaps what you feel is a result of cutting off Aged Rockstar (well done btw!), and the non-event of New World - while feeling like you are a bystander in a world fast going by. So be patient and hang in there - when things happen, you wonmt even have time for a breather! This is the moment to enjoy a little peace and quiet.
hugs from faraway land
babes, let's go climb that mountain anyway. even if we just make it to base camp. or we try and latch on to any other group once there. how?
(i need a tangible purpose too right now)
